So I have come to observe that there's an epidemic taking place in the lives of the women of our generation. It's an epidemic caused by a media that puts pictures in magazines and on billboards and tell the youth of today if you don't look like this you're not beautiful, you're not pretty enough and certainly not of value.
I am here today to tell you that you are wonderfully and fearfully made by a God that loves you so much that He came and died to give you new life. I am here to tell you that regardless of whether or not you look like the pictures that you see in those magazines, you are WORTH EVERYTHING! Even the girl in the magazine doesn't look like the girl in the magazine.
You see, beauty isn't always an outward thing, beauty is an inward thing. Beauty is the character of who you truly are. You see true beauty is how you are valued in the eyes of Christ.
The world will never be satisfied with who you are, the world will always tell you that you are too fat, you're too skinny, that you need to work on your smile, that you need to work on your hair, that you need bleach your skin or tone it if you are naturally fair. Omo black is beautiful, bleaching your skin will only make you fine from far but actually far from fine. The world will never be satisfied with who you truly are, because the world doesn't understand the beauty of what you were made to be.
If you can only see yourself through the eyes of the God who created you...., you will see just how beautiful you are!
Psalm 139~> I am fearfully and wonderfully made!
